Dojo Etiquette
Judoka
Arrive on time and prepared to train.
Judogi must be correctly fitting, clean and with no rips or tears.
Body must be clean and odour free, hands and feet washed.
Finger and toe-nails must be cut short.
Long hair must be tied up not touching the collar, using a soft hairband.
Jewellery, body piercings, make-up and nail varnish must be removed.
Cuts and wounds must be adequately covered.
Footwear or any kind is not permitted on the mat, footwear must be worn off the mat.
Changing is not permitted in the dojo, the changing rooms must be used.
Water bottles must be kept in the designated area only.
Spectators
Parents must not matside coach their children.
Talking must to be kept at a minimum, phones to be kept on silent.
Food, alcohol or fizzy drinks must not be bought into the dojo.
Dojo must be kept clean and free of litter.
