Events Calendar

Bishops Stortford Judo regularly compete at competitions, from county to international level, as well as attend coach and official training courses. The events below have been selected by the club's coaches as those that best suit the club's membership.
Contest is an important aspect of judo, helping to develop a judoka's confidence and providing a sense of progression, and is also a requirement for advancement through the grading pathway. Players are selected by their coaches to represent the club at specific targeted events, appropriate to their age and experience - Club members should not enter any events independently. The Club runs a league for all contest fighters, results of the Contest League are published at the Club's Annual Awards Presentation Evening and trophies are awarded for the year's most successful fighters in each age and grade category, previous year's winners are listed on the club's Annual Awards webpages.
