UK Coaching Awards WinnersThe Club's Lead coaches, Joe and Nicole Nunn, were winners of the Children’s Coach of the Year award at the 2014 Sports Coach UK, UK Coaching Awards. The awards were presented by HRH The Princess Royal at the City Chambers in Glasgow on 19 November 2014.
The UK Coaching Awards celebrate the role and performances of coaching and coaches at every level, from community coaches to elite coaches. Joe and Nicole were nominated by British Judo for their "tireless efforts in building a successful club with a large active membership, their enthusiastic and innovative approaches to developing athlete's movement skills, their pursuit of technical excellence, and their additional coaching activities outside of their club as Area Team Managers and England Support Coaches". |
